Katsuo Dashi-Japanese Food:



It is a kind of Japanese soup was made with Katsuobushi (dried bonito flakes).




Katsuo Dashi-Japanese Food


Ingredients:

3 1/4 Cups of water, 2/3 oz Katsuobushi

Preparation:

Put water in a deep pot and heat on medium-high heat. Short before the water boils, add the Katsuobushi flakes. When the water boils, skim any foam that rise to the surface. Stop the heat. Leave it until Katsuobushi flakes sink set. Place a paper towel in a sieve and strain the stock through it.
